Fantasy Football TE PPR Rankings Week 11 Who to start best sleepers at tight end

Blog Article

Every week is crucial at this point in the fantasy football season, so when multiple starters are mi sing from a shallow position because of byes, it matters. That's the case this week at tight end, but our Week 11 fantasy TE PPR rankings are as top-heavy as ever thanks to favorable matchups for almost all of the upper-tier options. That's great for the fantasy owners who already have the likes of Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and T.J. Hockenson, but for those who regularly play the streaming game at this notoriously thin position, it creates fewer potential sleepers. More owners than usual will likely be relying on a TD-or-bust option this week, even in PPR leagues. With that in mind, let's get into it and break down our Week 11 TE rankings.MORE: The Colts, Patriots, Saints, and Falcons are off this week, which means Kyle Pitts, Taysom Hill, Jonnu Smith, and Hunter Henry won't be available for fantasy lineups.WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS: | | | | Perhaps just as bad, we lose potentially favorable matchups with the Colts and Falcons off. Getting the Saints and Patriots off Tyus Jones Jersey the board is nice, but ultimately, this is a tough TE week for fantasy owners.WEEK 11 STANDARD RANKINGS: | | | | | It's no surprise to see Travis Kelce (vs. Eagles in Week 11), T.J. Hockenson (@ Broncos), Mark Andrews (vs. Bengals), Sam LaPorta (vs. Bears), and Dalton Kincaid (vs. Jets) in our top five, but they get some extra juice this week thanks to favorable matchups acro s the board. LaPorta, Andrews, and Hockenson are all facing teams that entered last week in the top three in fantasy points per game (FPPG) to tight ends.Cole Kmet (@ Lions), George Kittle (vs. Buccaneers), and Trey McBride (@ Texans) also have favorable matchups and should be considered "must-starts" in all formats.WEEK 11 FANTASY ADVICE: | | | McBride (@ Texans) is owned in just 57 percent of Yahoo leagues, and he showed last week (8-131) that he needs to be owned in more ahead of a matchup against Houston's bottom-five TE defense. Luke Musgrave (vs. Chargers) could also continue his late-season surge against a Chargers' defense that entered last week allowing the ninth-most FPPG to tight ends before giving up a score to backup Lions TE Brock Wright.Unfortunately, you have to dig really deep to find a viable TE streamer in deep leagues. Noah Fant (@ Rams), Michael Mayer (@ Dolphins), and Chig Okonkwo (@ Jaguars) all have matchups against defenses that entered last week in the top 10 in FPPG allowed to tight ends. All have low floors -- especially in PPR leagues -- but their ceilings look a little higher than usual this week.If you don't care about matchups, you can try Tanner Hudson (vs. Ravens), who hauled in six-of-seven targets for 33 yards last week. A matchup against Baltimore's No. 2 TE defense will be much tougher than going against Houston's porous unit, but Hudson has some upside.WEEK 11 DFS: | | | Some normally reliable TEs, including Jake Ferguson (@ Panthers), Dalton Schultz (vs. Cardinals), Logan Thomas (vs. Giants), and David Njoku (vs. Steelers), have tough matchups against defenses that entered Week 10 in the bottom 10 in FPPG allowed to tight ends. It's tough to bench any of these players in PPR formats, but beware if you think you'll need a huge TE week.We definitely wouldn't start Pat Freiermuth (@ Browns) if he returns from his hamstring injury. The Browns entered last week allowing the fewest FPPG to TEs, and Freiermuth wasn't exactly lighting things up before his IR stint. Similarly, Tyler Higbee (vs. Seahawks) and whoever starts between Gerald Everett or Donald Parham Jr. (@ Josh Jackson Jersey Packers) have below-average matchups and haven't been consistent this season.Darren Waller (hamstring) will be on the IR until at least Week 14, and Dallas Goedert (forearm) might join him there before the week is done. At the very least, Goedert is not expected to play this week against Kansas City. Albert Okwuegbunam and Jack Stoll will likely split TE duties in Goedert's absence, but neither is worth using in fantasy leagues until we see them in action.Gerald Everett (back) exited early in Week 10 and didn't return. If he's out, Donald Parham Jr. and Stone Smartt will share TE duties against the Packers. We'll be updating these TE PPR rankings throughout the week, so check back for the latest player movement and analysis.Rank Player1 Travis Kelce, Chiefs vs. Eagles2 T.J.
